I've not yet checked the voltage the NICAD is supposed to provide, but even without the battery I can try out enough of it for now :) It's intended to provide master compatible functions which I'm not too interested in to be honest. I'm really just interested in the clock. It doesn't seem to like dates from 2000 on (as usual with such contraptions!)
